In 2009, Andela Techniek & Innovatie developed and built a self-propelled onion harvester on behalf of Van Beem Agro BV from Zeewolde (Flevoland) on a dismantled Agrifac beet harvester. The machine tops the haulm and harvests 3 beds of 2.25 meters in one harvesting pass and has a capacity of 2.5 hectares per hour. The transport width of the onion harvester is 3.20 meters.
In addition to the self-propelled 3-bed onion harvester, Andela Techniek & Innovatie also offers other custom-made solutions, such as a trial field harvester and the Electric Toolcarrier. We are specialized in developing and building machines that do not yet exist, but always arise from the demand of our customers.
