Andela Techniek & Innovatie has been building the Andela Solar Weeder since 2009. It has proven to be a reliable and successful product. The Solar Weeder can be used for weed control in organic farming and for planting and harvesting. The Andela Solar Weeder is quiet, CO2 neutral, and easy to use.
The Andela Solar Weeder is available in various working and track widths, in a version with 3 or 4 wheels and with a capacity of 2 to 15 persons/berths. The Solar Weeder is equipped with solar panels, electric drive and a battery pack. This means that the machine runs entirely on solar energy and is therefore CO₂ neutral. The machine is height-adjustable and infinitely variable from 0 to approx. 1 kilometre per hour.
